Brett Hankey Named Chief Executive Officer

Atlanta, GA, June 26, 2024

Fencing Supply Group (“FSG” or “the Company”), a portfolio company of The Sterling Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Brett Hankey as Chief Executive Officer. FSG is the leading wholesale distributor of fencing products and supplies in the United States, operating over 70 branches in 30 states.

Brett has over twenty years of operational and financial leadership experience in building products distribution and manufacturing industries. Previously, Brett was CEO of Nivel Parts & Manufacturing, as well as Senior Vice President and General Manager responsible for the Sales and Operations team across the eastern half of the country at Distribution International (“DI”). He has led large sales, operational and service organizations, in addition to functional teams in strategy, supply chain, marketing and product management in his roles at Nivel, DI, HD Supply and GE. Brett started his career as an engineer with GE’s operational leadership program and completed his MBA at UNC.
